Reason #10 to Buy a Home in Crofton, Maryland
January 23rd, 2008 Categories: Real Estate

Anyone who commutes from Crofton into D.C. or Northern Virginia will tell you how very happy they are to have the sun at their backs for the drive to and from work - and not in their eyes.
Crofton commuters just sit up tall in their cars and smile, patting themselves on the back for choosing to live east of where they work, whenever they hear traffic reporters on the radio talking about the “sun factor” in Northern Virginia traffic congestion.
If you’re relocating to the D.C. area and trying to decide where to live, ask yourself if having the sun in your eyes when you’re driving would bother you -every day before and after work, year in and year out.
I get a headache just thinking about it!
This ”sun factor” is my Reason #10 for buying your next home in Crofton, Maryland.

What an excellent reason to buy in Crofton! Is this common knowledge?
LOL…I think that’s one reason no one thinks about!!!
Ginger - Well, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west - and THAT is common knowledge! But people have so much to consider when they relocate such as home prices and schools and communities and… I don’t think this occurs to them until they’re in the car, driving to work that first day.
Bob - This is something that people don’t think about when they’re relocating to the area. But my clients are always grateful, when I point that out. I guess Frederick is more north than east, but commuters in your area don’t have the sun in their eyes, do they?
I would have never thought of that - Margaret what an excellent point! You are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks.
