Reason #9 to Buy a Home in Crofton, Maryland

Pets Love Crofton, Too!
At any time of the day or night, you are likely to find people walking their dogs in Crofton. A three and a half-mile parkway circles “Old Crofton” - just one of many places to walk your dog on wide sidewalks that accommodate pets, strollers, and people walking side by side beneath the American flags hanging year round from the light poles.
Fenced back yards are allowed, so your pet will have a place to run and play. Even most townhomes have at least a small fenced area for letting out your dog.
A dog-park is located in the County Athletic Park Complex at Bell Branch Park on Route 424. While the kids are practicing soccer, football, or baseball with their teams at the lighted fields, mom or dad can socialize and exercise their pets at the dog-park. Even if you live in a townhouse with a very small yard, your dog will have a place to run and play, here at the dog park.
Anne Arundel County has four other pet-friendly parks including two with beaches, Downs Park (beach only) and Quiet Waters (park and beach).
These are some of the reasons why “Pet-Friendly” is my Reason #9 to Buy a Home in Crofton, Maryland.

Margaret,
This is a great article on why move to Crofton - people here in Clearwater are crazy about their pets too. Dog Parks are popping up everywhere.
