My goodness, what a mixed message for Crofton real estate in October!
Not surprising, I guess, since we have “sold” statistics based on some contracts written in August and September, before the economic meltdown, and other statistics based on the weeks after it began. I believe there may be a few months before we see how it shakes out and we can ascertain the direction of our local housing market in Crofton for the near future.
The following chart tracks real estate activity in the Crofton (21114) zipcode during October, each year since 2005. Information comes from the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems,
Inc. (MRIS).
I think the most interesting thing on this entire report is the increase in both Average Sold Price and Median Sold Price this year over October 2007.
