Margaret is a D.C. native who knows her way around the entire Washington, D.C. - Baltimore area, from Northern Virginia to the Chesapeake Bay. But Crofton and Anne Arundel County have been home to the Woda family since the 70’s.
“Larry and I love it when the grandkids come to visit”, says Margaret, “especially on nice days when they say ‘Let’s go to the park!’ before they even get inside the house.” Watching the children laugh and play on the equipment or feeding ducks with them at the pond always creates a sense of nostalgia for the Wodas. It’s almost like a re-run of their early days in Crofton when they arrived as a young couple with two toddlers who played at this very spot, just a block from their home.

Neighbors worship together and volunteers meet to organize the annual Halloween parade or other popular community event. American flags fly above the streets and holiday wreathes magically appear on light posts at the Village Green each year.”
“Larry and I just can’t imagine living anywhere else, even now as empty-nesters,” she adds.
